How many times have you sat down to watch the news only to see the same celebrity on all the news channels? This seems to be a reoccurring thing when it comes to celebrities losing a loved one. The most recent coverage was on John Travolta losing his son Jett. When it was first reported, all the news channels spent lots of time covering the whole story. I mean every channel at the same time covering the same story. We ever happened to covering local news?
With all due respect to the Travolta family, it is a real tragedy to lose a loved one but do we have to hear about it every day for multiple hours? This also happened when Anna Nicole lost her son then she passed. We heard about that for months. I want to hear about local and national news that affects me. Hearing about celebrities and their lives is interesting in small doses but I don't need to hear it all the time.
